Our Mission

Since Kelli Grady founded the Ludovici Dance Academy in 1991, the studio has been unyielding in its’ mission to cultivate confident, determined, and passionate dancers. Our highly qualified faculty members are committed to creating a nurturing environment that encourages personal growth through dance education.

Our method

The academy offers classes in many styles including ballet, tap, modern, jazz, contemporary, pointe, improvisation, hip-hop, musical theater, singing, acting, and acrobatics. The students are given the opportunity to participate in community performances, regional and national competition events, and master classes with guest teachers. We choose participate in quality competitive events that often include workshop and convention classes with highly qualified instructors. Rather than chasing trophies and going where we know we will win, we chose to strive for growth.

The most important-and my favorite-part of what I do is not teaching kids steps, or how to point their feet; I want to give these kids valuable lessons that will help them their entire lives. Discipline, confidence, self-respect... I want these kids to succeed, not just in dance. I consider all of these kids, whether they are my children or not, my family.
— Kelli Ludovici-Grady, Founder and Director
