what age can they start?
Children can register for ‘Mommy and Me’ at 2 years old, which they participate in with a parent or guardian. Once they are at the age to enter “Pre school”, they can begin to register for classes that they participate in on their own.
what age can they start competing?
They can start participating in competitions when they are in 1st grade. In kindergarten, however, they have the option to train as a ‘mini mover’. Mini Movers attend a minimum of 2 dance classes per week and are invited to attend a Dance Workshop with our Travel Competition Team. For competition ‘prep’ they are required to attend summer Camps and attend Ballet, Tap, and jazz during the dance year.
what is your pricing?
Tuition for one class per week costs $50 per month. We offer unlimited-All Inclusive packages, which can bring the cost of each class/rehearsal as low as $4 each. For everything in between, discounts increase as you add classes.
are you required to participate in competitive events?
Absolutely not. We offer plenty of options for recreational and non-competitive students.
what is the dance database?
The ‘Dance Database’ is page on our website under the ‘get involved’ tab. This page features important dance related videos, performances, and informational sites. We encourage art advocacy through dance education, and the Dance Database is our way to share information about the dance world; we strive to share this with not only our students, but also, our community.
